empañamiento

this is an image outside of the pdx greyhound station, with which i became well-aquainted during my relationship with jen. this is a perfect example of my goal for this blog, and here's why:

i did this without really thinking. i've always been fascinated with high contrast, but i started to explore photoshop on the newspaper staff in high school and started applying it to all sorts of my own stuff. i wouldn't have thought much about it then, but looking at it now i think it's apt to have the patches of gray over a colorful fall scenario, because this greyhound station represents in many ways the beginning of a tainting of sorts that occurred from the trials and tribulations of a long distance relationship. the whos and the hows are covered in my other blog, again to the point of being pathetic. but that's not the point.
