i got to take this one with a nice camera at the beaverton max station. relatively unedited, actually. apart from my fascination with tunnels and trains and this cliché-as-fuck composition of the person waiting for the train, it reminds me of how much i did on the newspaper senior year, and how that truly was a good experience. this is the stuff i need to remember. i know this because the shot's in beaverton and...really why the hell else would i go out to beaverton?
this, the bus mall downtown waiting for the 4 division bus on 5th street, is an image burned into the back of my mind for having spent a lot of rainy nights by the urine-stained grafittied 1980s busstop. i don't think i ever managed to get a good shot inside the bus. taking the bus was a big thing, and i learned the bus system as fast as i could, since coming from hawaii and suburban utah, i had never seen anything like it.
i like the faceless...luke? mark? i can't remember. this image was so shitty that i edited it way too much, and someone probably could have done the same thing out of charcoal with more detail, but i did walk this bridge....a lot.
